An event producer has an existing Release of Liability Form that is fairly straightforward. She opens the document on her computer and copies-n-pastes the content into WaiverHub.
Decide what information to collect on the waiver
Next, the event producer chooses what information they want to collect on the liability waiver. The are 16 standard fields to choose from, including name, address, phone, and date of birth, as well as custom fields that can be created to gather additional information.
Assign the Waiver Request to a Coach, who then Assigns it to his or her Players.
You can send waiver signature and rostering request directly to participants and monitor the campaign for activity. If there is a coach or team admin involved, you assign the task for them to assign the waivers to their team, knowing with clarify if the coach has done it or not. You and the coach can monitor the requests for progress using our dashboards.
Present the Online Waiver to Participants, Parents, or Guardians.
Once the event producer has the documents all ready and has reviewed the process with a lawyer, the waivers are then ready to have the online release form signed. Legal counsel suggested that for further protection, it’s best to collect the signed online waivers in advance. The event producer likes that idea and wants to do everything possible to avoid collecting waivers the day of the event.
Collect and monitor all signed waivers and all participant information.
Optional notifications are sent whenever an online waiver is signed.
Meanwhile, the event producer notices emails lighting up with some new messages: confirmation of all 3 online release forms being signed.
Signed online waivers are stored for easy retrieval by you or your participants.
